Book List

All my comics are heavily influenced by Japanese manga, especially shoujo(girls comics). I use the term to pay homage to the major influence of my works. Also my stories are emotion driven versus action driven.

Songbirds, Songbirds is inspired by Japanese BL and V.C. Andrews novels.  It is about the intense relationship  between two aspiring male singers. This story is intended for mature readers. *BL is subset of shoujo that focuses on male/male relationships ranging from platonic to romantic to undefinable.

This is a listing of my novels and short stories

Unbound, The twin stars of kaze, (shoujo fantasy) Once upon a time, the universe was covered in darkness, then the One who is Light came and pushed back the shadows. Defeating the darkness took great energy and the One who is Light won the battle, but did not survive it. Upon the death of the One who is Light, twin stars were born (two sons). The first born was named Aldus, which means adored one, he was given the magnificent spiritual plane. The plane was made up of the heavens, the land of angels and Ilumana, the land of fairies. Aldus was also given control of the hells and the underworlds that the darkness had left behind. Even though the darkness was defeated, it could not be destroyed, only contained in the balance of things. Eldus, which simply means second born, recieved the physical world and named it Elementa. The physical world was divided into day and night as to also maintain the balance. Both gods were pleased with their planes and happiness and joy was abundant for a while…

Eternity, (BL/sci-fi) It is the 7th day of year zero in the era of our regency My name is Evan Askins and I begin this story my last week on earth. Don’t worry I’m not going to die. I guess I should give a brief history of the world to explain what’s happening. This contradicts The Glorious Regency by the way. The wave will arrive in one week. What is the wave you ask? It is a mysterious energy moving through out the universe. Once it arrives all life on earth will end.

Dragonhearts, (BL/fantasy) It is a question I’ve sought the answer to all of my life. What are the Dragon kind? There is Mankind and Angelkind…but what are the dragonkind? They look like humans (albeit very beautiful ones) except for two distinct physical features. They have ears like dragon wings and tails. What are these creatures that are spread through out Elementa?

Nara Walker is an artist, poet, & crafter residing in Florida. She calls her art style prettyism; because the number one complaint from her art teachers was that her style was “too pretty”. The primary influences on her art are Neo-classicism, Expressionism, Asian comics, & Studio Era cinema. Her comics are styled after Japanese shoujo (girls) comics, so they are emotion driven, focusing on feelings of the characters.
The titles she’s created include Songbirds, Legacy of Light, Unbound, Fractured Butterflies, and Dragonhearts & Eternity. She has 40 stories or so (the number keeps growing as more ideas pop into her head) to do before she dies.
